VDF products fair: An assemblage of upholstered squares and rectangles forms the adjustable AVL Lazy Modernist armchair, which was created for Lensvelt by Dutch designer Joep van Lieshout.
In order to extend the freedom of movement that is possible within an armchair, every element of the Lazy Modernist is self-contained and can be moved to accommodate different seating positions.
For taller users, the square headrest can be extended upwards, and for those who want to recline entirely, a leg and footrest can be folded out.
But even with this elaborate functionality, the Lazy Modernist still maintains the angular minimalism that characterises the rest of Lensvelt's AVL series and makes the design suitable for offices as well as residential and hospitality interiors.
Beyond the armchair, the collection also includes a wooden chair and an office chair as well as a workbench, all of which are currently on show as part of the VDF products fair.
