Dezeen promotion: Nomos Glashütte has added three automatic watches to its Campus collection, designed for graduates and young professionals.
The three additions bring Nomos Glashütte's Campus collection up to six watches, after first launching in 2017 with three hand-wound models.
The automatic timepieces are available in two sizes and three different colour variations, but each one features a plain stainless steel caseback.
These casebacks are intended to be engraved with a personalised messages from significant others, which celebrate the milestones of a young person's career.
"When Nomos Glashütte launched the Campus series two years ago, the timepieces were made with young graduates in mind," explained the German watchmaking company.
"All of them are a perfect reward for passing exams, celebrating graduation, or landing that first job. They are Glashütte watches of the highest caliber that will accompany you for life."
The Campus watches take their cues from Nomos Glashütte's popular Club collection, which is known for its "sporty and youthful" aesthetic. However, for the first time the brand is offering a metal strap as standard.
This offers a versatile aesthetic that "conveys maturity, a personal sense of style, and an appreciation of quality", meeting both strict and smart casual workplace dress codes.
Each model is available with faces in the two sizes – 37 and 39.5 millimetres – adorned with three hands and a combination of Arabic and Roman numerals.
They are all made of stainless steel and sapphire crystal, designed for durability and water resistance for up to 200 metres, making them suitable for the active lifestyles of young professionals.
The dials are available in white with numerals and arms in white or navy, or with dark face and white detailing.
They all feature superluminova to help wearers read the time in the dark.
The collection is now available to purchase on the company's website, and Nomos Glashütte is offering free custom engraving on all Club Campus models.
Founded by Roland Schwertner in 1990, today Nomos Glashütte is the largest manufacturer of mechanical timepieces in its price segment in Germany.
In 2014, Nomos Glashütte collaborated with Berlin-based product designer Mark Braun to create the Metro timepiece, which celebrates the "craft of making".
