3Novices:Competition: win an Eclipse wearable light clip by Bookman

For our latest competition, Dezeen has teamed up with Bookman Urban Visibility to offer readers the chance to win one of five wearable light clips designed for style conscious urban road users.

Swedish company, Bookman Urban Visibility, has released a powerful wearable light clip that is easily attached to a coat or backpack.

Equipped with both white and red LEDs for front and rear wearing, Eclipse is designed to be worn during outdoor activities such as running, cycling and walking. The light is rechargeable and can last for up to 60 hours on a single charge.

The risk of being part of an accident is three times as high during dark hours as in daytime and many of these accidents could be avoided with the use of visibility products such as lights and reflectors.

However, according to Bookman Urban Visibility many people tend to prioritise style over safety.

"We wanted to create a light for all street users – one that people would actually wear, said Victor Kabo, co-founder of Bookman Urban Visibility. "With hard work on usability and appearance we now have a visibility product that has the potential of actually saving lives."

Eclipse is available in black, grey and pink and can also be purchased from Bookman's website.

Competition closes 28 July 2018. Five winners will be selected at random and notified by email, and his or her name will be published at the top of this page.
