3Novices:Competition: win a Vibia table lamp designed by Lievore Altherr Molina

Dezeen has teamed up with Barcelona lighting brand Vibia to give readers the chance to win one of two different table lamps, designed by Lievore Altherr Molina.

The competition offers Dezeen's US readers the opportunity to own one of two versions of the Swing lamp.

Designed by Spanish studio Lievore Altherr Molina, the steel Swing lamp is intended to be used in any room in the house.

One winner will receive a version of the Swing table lamp that is covered by an off-white mesh shade, and features a switch concealed inside the lamp holder.

The second winner will receive a LED version of the same lamp, which features a flat-head that functions as a metal diffuser, and has an integrated switch on the power cable.

The recently updated, minimalist design for the Swing lamp includes a joint which meets at the arm and the stem, and allows for a wide range of movement so that users can aim focus light to a specific place.

The flat head of the LED version can also be adjusted 45 degrees vertically.

Both versions of the lamp are available in three colour finishes – chrome, graphite grey and matte white. They retail at between $1,145 to $1,200.

Barcelona-based Vibia has previously collaborated with designers such as Arik Levy, Martin Azúa and Ramón Esteve to create its modular lighting systems.

The company, which operates in over 80 countries, also recently launched a customisable lighting system made up of blown-glass spheres, which is supported by a metal matrix.

Competition closes 18 August. The competition is only open to US entrants. Winners will be selected at random and notified by email, and their names will be published at the top of this page.
