Saina Nehwal has been nominated for the BWF Woman Player of the Year Award after a consistent season which saw her occupy the world number one spot for a brief period. Saina will vie for the coveted honour along with world No. 1 Carolina Marin, 2014 winner Zhao Yunlei and Bao Yixin.
