Samajwadi Party leader and state minister Azam Khan, who was in Meerut for an event on Saturday, took an apparent dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “Badshah jhutha nahi hota, aur agar vo jhootha ho to badshah nahi hota (The emperor never lies, and if he does, he isn’t an emperor),” Khan said.
