3Novices:Nigerian opposition party declares victory in presidential poll

Abuja, March 31 (IANS) With the final result yet to be announced, the Nigerian opposition party on Tuesday declared victory in the recent presidential poll. Shehu Garba, spokesperson of the opposition party's campaign organisation, said the political group has already declared a victory party in Abuja, with the party's presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari, in attendance. The opposition All Progressives Congress party took a lead in weekend's presidential election, according to results of 33 states released by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
